11/12/10 From The Lord, Our God and Savior - The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy, For The Lord’s Little Flock, and For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

Thus says The Lord: It is nearly time for this trumpet to grow quiet for a time, and another to sound. (Yet the trumpet called seven shall be blown loudly before the time). For a day of great wailing is about to come in; sorrow shall be increased, and your nation shall be severely humbled. Yet they shall by no means be alone in their abasement. For crying and bitter lamentation shall break forth in every land, causing all nations to shudder from within, the countenance of every inhabitant falling. Disaster shall befall them at noonday, and great ruin shall become their constant companion; famine shall grab hold of the people and destitution shall become their daily bread, leaving them broken and desolate. And behold, in their weakness shall great evil and transgression arise.

Look how the lofty have fallen!...

See how they take shelter under the arm of the oppressor,
A mighty one who comes in the guise of peace, with a silver tongue...

Behold, he shall wield a bow in his strength
And cause many to bow down before him,
For his arrows are sharp and guile is found always in his mouth...
