4/22/13 From The Lord, Our God and Savior - The Word of The Lord Spoken to Timothy, For a Brother in Christ, and For All Those Who Have Ears to Hear

Thus says The Lord: My son, I have called you to be My servant, to bring yourself low that you may serve Me, yet you do as you please, fulfilling only the minimum requirement. For you have yet to truly lay yourself down.
I tell you the truth, old houses stand upon old foundations and new houses upon new foundations. A new house can not be built atop another, nor does one build a new house upon an old foundation; no, the old house must be torn down and the old foundation removed, making room for the new foundation to be poured, that the new house may rest securely upon it... Behold the house, a house with a sure foundation, a house able to withstand even the strongest of storms.
My son, obedience is more than trust, and trust much more than obedience. For obedience by itself bears bitter fruit in the end, and trust left alone becomes a lie. Therefore, those who seek to serve Me as a watchman must be willing to give up everything for My sake. They must number their steps before Me and bear good fruit, lest I draw back My hand and leave them to walk through dry places, that they may learn what it truly means to hunger and thirst, what it truly means to trust with abandonment, obey without expectation, and love without condition. For I have already told you, a worker is indeed worthy of his pay. Yet when the work is completed in one place, he must find work in another, lest he fall under reproach for receiving a portion far greater than his works deserve. I am The Lord.
